Micromax has launched a new smartphone called the Canvas Turbo A250, which has a 5-inch full HD screen and a quad-core processor. The smartphone is priced at Rs 19,990.
Key features of the smartphone:
Screen: This is the first full HD smartphone from Micromax. It has a 5-inch screen from SHARP with full HD resolution. Micromax says the screen’s display has CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) power saving technology which ensures better 360 degree wide angle viewing.
Processor: It has a 1.5 GHz MT6589T quad-core processor from MediaTek and comes with 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage space.
Camera: Like the Canvas 4, it also comes with a 13 megapixel camera. Micromax has also added a ‘Camerazzi’ mode in the camera which offers features such as 360 degree panorama, Cinemagraph and Object Eraser. This is the first Micromax phone with a 360 degree panorama feature. Users can also GIF with their pictures via the Cinemagraph. The Object Eraser feature allows users to erase unwanted objects or people from photosshot with the smartphone. The front camera is 5 megapixels.
The smartphone runs Android 4.2.1 build of Jelly Bean, has a 2000 mAh battery which Micromax says has a battery life of 7 hours. Canvas Turbo will be available in stores in India from 26 October. The smartphone comes in White and Blue.

The launch would be supported with a clutter breaking 360 degree marketing campaign across print, online and TV.”
