Micromax’s previous budget Android offering, the Andro A60, ruffled a few feathers with its pricing, but ultimately fell short on quite a few aspects. Now it seems they are trying to right the wrongs with a new Android smartphone, the FroYo-bearing Andro A70.
According to The Mobile Indian, Micromax are looking to launch the phone in India this month. Here’s what you can look for when it comes to specs:
3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen running at 480×320
Google Android 2.2 FroYo
5 megapixel rear-camera with Autofocus
Front-facing VGA camera
WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP
Storage expansion upto 32GB via microSD card slot
The Micromax Andro A70 is expected to release at a price point of Rs. 9,000. While the pricing is decent, it remains to be seen whether the phone lives up to expectations. Stay tuned for a full review when we get our hands on the phone.
