The doer here is a new iOS to Windows Phone 7 API mapping tool, which comes included in a package for the developers, exclusively. The package also contains a Windows Phone 7 guide, as thick as 90 pages. This guide for iPhone app developers comes with a developer series wherein developers are exposed to the experience of the other developers in porting iPhone apps to Windows Phone, and all this on video.

Using this package it is now possible for developers to pick their respective apps on iOS and match its equivalent up a Windows Phone 7 chart. The whole matching process is enabled by C ++ sample codes, as well as API documentations that available for the iOS and WP7, respectively.

It would be rather discouraging on the user’s part to expect it to be revolutionizing in terms of conversions.  However, it for sure is a giant leap in that direction.
