Microsoft has launched in India the Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection, a combination of the Kinect’s bestselling games on the Xbox 360 – Kinect Sports and Kinect Sports: Season 2. The Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection bundle has hit retail shelves, bringing consumers all the Kinect Sports content in one pack at a price of Rs 2,499.

The Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection has up to 13 full-body sports and all of Season Two’s add-on packs. Using the full body, and hands-free controls of Kinect, gamers can dunk basketballs, race up the track field, score a soccer goal or sink a hole in one with golf.

The Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection includes all of the Kinect, full-body tracking sports such as soccer, football, golf, skiing, tennis, boxing, darts, baseball, bowling, track and field, table tennis, beach volleyball, and basketball. There is also bonus add-on content, which includes night ski runs, the back nine golf holes, and added basketball activities.

Using Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection allows players to use their entire bodies as the game controller. And with the added technology from Kinect Sports: Season Two, available in the combo pack, they can also use their voices to call out commands.

Its multiplayer mode lets players jump in and out and play off against each other.

Earlier this month, Microsoft had released Dance Central 3 for the Kinect. The game features authentic choreography. Microsoft sends players back in time to dance their way through the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, and beyond. Players get to learn popular dances such as The Hustle, Electric Slide and The Dougie, along with all the trendy moves from today. To ramp up the friendly competition further, brand new to Dance Central 3 is the Crew Throwdown mode where two teams of up to four can go head-to-head in a series of performances, dance battles and mini-games; all set to the top dancing tracks of the year, featuring artists such as Lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliot, Katy Perry and The Black Eyed Peas. There is also be a 'Keep the Beat' mini-game, which has the player track the rhythm, and the 'Make Your Move' mini-game, which has players compete and make up routines on the fly.

Priced at Rs 2,499, the game is packed with new features, including a multiplayer party mode for up to 8 players.
