Facebook announced the launch of its app for the iPad recently, 18 months after the first iPad was launched. However, almost soon after it launched, users began posting about minor bugs they came across while using the app. According to a BBC report, a certain user by the name Michael Clawson had posted on Twitter stating that he was unable to view the pages when he clicked on the left panel icons. Few, with an Apple dock/keyboard could not access the 'Send' button when they put the iPad on the dock and attempted to comment on a post.
In response to the sizeable number of complaints, Facebook reportedly stated that while they had 'vigourously' tested the product, like they do usually; occasional bugs were common with new technological products, especially when people begin using it on a large scale.
The Facebook app for iPad allows iPad users to browse through their news feeds, notifications and messages. Viewing photos on the iPad is also possible on a full screen. Users can also view video clippings and can also view those clippings on their television, by sending them using AirPlay. The app will also allow users to chat with their contacts, and play games, too.
