We recently told you about details of HTC’s upcoming smartphones leaking, one of which was the HTC Doubleshot. Now, it seems that a leaked ROM has coughed up some more information about the smartphone, which might end up with a very impressive specsheet.
Could Doubleshot actually mean 3D?
According to PocketNow, the Doublshot will be powered by Qualcomm’s 1.2GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon processor and an Adreno 220 GPU, and will boast of 768MB of RAM. The 3.7-inch display will run at a resolution of 800×480 and the phone will feature dual-cameras with the rear camera having a 8 megapixel sensor.
The surprising bits begin now, though. The camera will support 1080p 3D video recording, which is pretty much an industry first. 3D Playback codecs also make an appearance, indicating the possibility of a 3D-enabled display as well! The QWERTY keypad will be of the 5-row variety, and will feature a row for numbers as well as a D-pad, something that was sorely missing on the Desire Z. WiFI b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and HSDPA 14.4Mbps support round off the very impressive specs list.
So, what do you think? HTC seem to be on a bit of a roll recently, don’t they?
