After a lot of thinking of what Android’s next version would be called, there were many rumours indicating that Ice Cream Sandwich will be their next version of the Android OS. Here’s another confirmation about it and this can be seen from a post found in a forum for Google Codes.
No bugs in my Ice Cream!
Back in February, we had already heard stuff about the Californian company infusing some features from Honeycomb in their latest smartphone Operating System. Since then, there hasn’t been any official confirmation from them and neither any rumours of what features we might get to see. However, with the Ice Cream Sandwich story coming back to life, it looks like something on this might come out sooner or later.
Apart from merging features from Honeycomb 3.0, the OS might also have Google TV but that’s something that hasn’t been confirmed as yet. Let’s hope that the latest firmware upgrade brings something new to the table and that Google updates us about it in the upcoming Google I/O Event.
