Gearlog is reporting that LG's GW990 will be the first Meego phone.

Meego is the result of the merger between Intel's Moblin and Nokia's Maemo platforms. It is a Linux-based software platform that will support multiple hardware architectures across the broadest range of device segments, including pocketable mobile computers, netbooks, tablets, mediaphones, connected TVs and in-vehicle infotainment systems.

The GW990 is scheduled to launch in Korea, but LG has not revealed plans to do so in the US.
