With The Last of Us on its way to store shelves, developer Naughty Dog is looking forward. The company is looking to hire new people as it gets ready to develop games for next-gen consoles, according to PlayStation Lifestyle. The company's listing hints that much like the company's other games, the next one will also be a third-person action game. It will also have multiplayer and co-op.
The listing for the position of a Network Programmer involves: “design and implementation of high level network code for next-generation console title.”
Developing a new game for the next-gen consoles won't be difficult for Naughty Dog as the company has earlier revealed that it will be using the same game engine for its next games that it did for the Uncharted games and The Last of Us.

Other than its next-gen game, Naughty Dog is currently working on DLC for The Last of Us. The Season Pass for The Last of Us is available for pre-order. Buying the season pass will cost €19.99 (Rs 1,479 approx) and will consist of three DLCs.
For the first time, studio Naughty Dog will be making story-based DLC instead of its usual skins and maps for multiplayer. “The journey and cast of characters in The Last of Us lends itself to thorough narrative exploration and we’ve got more of the story to tell,” says the blog post.
Those who pre-order the Season Pass will get some bonuses for the game on day one. This includes increased crafting speed, increased healing speed, 9mm reload speed upgrade, rifle clip capacity upgrade and Grounded.
Grounded is an exclusive 90-minute documentary on the making of The Last of Us. It is an in-depth look and has been made by a group that is specialised in making videos about games – Area 5.
The other DLC packs will feature multiplayer content in the form of maps and, like Uncharted, skins. The company will reveal more about the game's multiplayer component in the coming days. According to the blog post, the multiplayer component of the game will carry forward the same themes, tone and tension that is present in the single player campaign.
