With technology getting so progressive, almost every activity is getting instantaneous, like in a single click of a mouse. A literal example of that will be the technological development that has taken place in the maneuvering of the Navy’s X-47B. If the news trickling in is anything to go by, then it could be controlled by the click of a mouse.

This technology buffer to the already ‘autonomous’ experimental combat system will totally redefine the very term – autonomous. Autonomous will now not be even closely connected to ‘remote piloting’. The catch here is that the Unmanned Combat Air System (UCAS) can be controlled entirely by mouse clicks, also by someone who doesn’t even have an idea about flying planes.
So, essentially instead of control towers, all that these ‘mouse clicked’ planes would need are 3.4 million lines of software code. Enabling this degree of autonomous-ness adds on to a great deal of accuracy in operation, believe the developers of this technology.
The tests on this technology, however, will not begin any sooner than 2014, and would essentially just be the only one of its kind.
