Less than a week back, pictures of the HTC Pyramid were leaked along with those of the HTC Ignite and HTC Prime. Now, there are two new pictures of the Pyramid that show the smartphone has a qHD display and a picture of the rear confirms it doesn't have 3D cameras. There’s some more information on the specifications as well. However, things look pretty quiet in the launch dates and pricing scenario.

The HTC Pyramid, (as we mentioned earlier) doesn’t run on Android 3.0. The reference, it seems, is being made to the HTC Sense UI’s version 3.0. Although the smartphone will be running on Android Gingerbread, it’s said that the OS will be version 2.4. The rest of the specs are mentioned below:
- 4.3-inch qHD Touchscreen with a 540 x 960 pixels resolution
- 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA
- 8 Megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash
- 1.3 Megapixel secondary camera

The Pyramid also boasts of a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and is probably HTC’s first dual-core smartphone. While there’s no mention of whether the handset supports 3G, looking at all the specifications and the front facing camera, it’s quite evident that the Pyramid will be 3G-enabled!
Let’s hope things shape up well and the smartphone hits shelves sooner than later.
