As if there aren't enough rumors flying around about the new iPhone, here's another one to add to the mix. According to Jefferies & Co. analyst Peter Misek, the next iPhone will be called the iPhone 4S when it's released in September. It will have distribution deals with Sprint and T-Mobile by the end of this year which means that AT&T and Verizon won't be the only carriers in the picture.
The next iPhone supposedly won't look too differently from iPhone 4
Additionally, the new iPhone will have a dual core A5 processor. Misek says the phone design will more or less remain the same except for a few cosmetic changes, and that the front and rear camera will be improved to an unspecified amount. He also says that there won't be any LTE support for the iPhone 4S yet because the LTE chipset from Qualcomm is supposedly not capable of achieving yields sufficient for inclusion in the next iPhone.
