Intex Technologies, a manufacturer of IT accessories and mobile phones has launched a new range of LED and LCD television sets. The range is priced competitively, with the top of the line model retailing at Rs 31,990, while the most basic one comes with a price tag of Rs 9,490.

Elaborating on the expansion plans, Nidhi Sardana, DGM- Business and Operations, Intex Technologies said, “The new festive product offering is part of our growth strategy for the CE vertical which reiterates Intex’s commitment in offering interesting products at affordable prices. Apart from the recently announced models, Intex plans to further strengthen its television line-up by adding a few more models to it in the coming months. All the recently announced models are equipped with High Defintion (HD) Ready technology with video playability. These televisions come with at least one USB slot, and three HDMI ports.

Through the USB port, one can attach an external drive such as a USB flash stick to view movies, images, and listen to music through its USB direct playback feature. These sets have a 5ms response time.

All models are equipped with Eye Safe T Matrix, which is a technology developed by Intex Centre for Design and Development. Intex claims that with no lagging effect and a fast response time, the TVs are a put no strain to the eyes. 
The other features included in the range are wide viewing angle, auto channel search, auto volume leveller, digital noise reduction, sleep timer, and headphone option.

Intex plans to launch the TV range in phases in the country starting with the north, followed by the west, east, and finally the south. To support the increase in reach, the present after-sales service network comprising of Intex Care Partners will also be increased as per sales requirements.

All models come with a 36-day warranty backed by after-sales services. The company has over 500 service points across the country. Intex says, “They can be bought through more than 8000 distributors and retail outlets, 40 Intex Square and more than 200 hypermarkets across India.”
