Google Maps has been available on mobile phones for quite some time now and has pretty much become a part of our every day lives – from giving us exact directions, to helping out with restaurant recommendations.
Now, a new YouTube video on Google’s Nexus S page showcases Google Maps 5.0 and its new features, such as allowing you to view buildings in 3D (which looks really amazing) and checking out traffic reports. Ever wondered where your friends are at any given time? The latitude feature built within Google Maps 5.0 does just that.
The Google Maps 5.0 application has only been seen functioning on the Nexus S's Gingerbread, but rumors suggest that Froyo users will be getting it as well.
