A blogpost on GSMArena states that the next Angry Birds Seasons update will come later this month and that the theme for the update will be that of Chinese New Year. The festival will be celebrated on the 23rd of January, this year. The clues come from a trailer that Rovio unveiled at the end of 2011, when they finished the Advent Calendar-styled Christmas update for Angry Birds Seasons. The trailer shows the defeat of the pigs at the end of a snowy scene, and then a dragon swooshes in, changing the scene to one in China. Watch the video below for the trailer.

Having the next update be in celebration of Chinese New Year will be the second time Angry Birds has let out a Seasons update with the Chinese theme. The first update was the Moon Cake Festival update, which came out in September 2011. It's interesting that they're coming out with another Chinese themed update, so soon after. Aside from the holiday themed update, the Moon Cake festival was the last Angry Birds Seasons update for 2011. Are you excited for this next update? Let us know in the comments section below.
