Just a day after the release of the Mechromancer downloadable content (DLC) for Borderlands 2, details about the next DLC have been leaked. According to Eurogamer, the DLC details were leaked because of some trophies from the PlayStation 3 version of the game, which were added in the latest update. The DLC is said to be one of the four major DLCs that will be included in the Season Pass for Borderlands 2.

The DLC seems to be named Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, and will feature a new zone called Oasis. The DLC will also feature new missions, weapons, bosses, raids, and a new level of rarity for the weapons of the game. The rarity of a weapon decides how many bonuses a weapon will have, this deciding how powerful it will be. Other leaked details were procured from the PC version’s files. The most notable leak from this is the entire script for the next DLC, which can be found on Pastebin. Dialog from the DLC includes gems such as, “I am the Censorbot. All lewd behavior must be stopped. A deviant known as P3RV-E is in possession of sexually explicit materials. Please murder him, because morality.”

Borderlands 2's DLC info was leaked because of PS3 Trophies

The Mechromancer DLC was recently released for those of us who hadn’t pre-ordered the game. The DLC contains a new character called Gaige the Mechromancer. Like every other class in the game, Gaige the Mechromancer also has a special ability called Deathtrap, which is a robot she can summon to presumably go on a murderous rampage against her enemies. Her three skill trees are Best Friends Forever, Little Big Trouble and Ordered Chaos. Gearbox has made her skill tree available on the skill calculator so you can get a closer look at her skills.

Borderlands 2 was released on 18 September with a launch trailer. The trailer showed the motivations of the main antagonist of the game – Handsome Jack.

Gearbox’s role playing shooter might get a release on the PlayStation Vita. In an interview with IGN, head of Gearbox Randy Pitchford said, “If some other studio was capable and could be trusted by us, and by a publishing partner, and by Sony, and someone wanted to invest in making that happen? I think Sony should step up and make that happen”. Pitchford will be meeting with Sony on the matter soon. This could possibly mean a PlayStation Vita version for Borderlands 2. And if we’re making wishes, we could also wish for cross-platform co-op between the PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation 3.

Borderlands 2 is available in retail stores for Rs 999 for the PC version, and Rs 2,499 for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 versions. The PC version of the game is also available on Steam for $59.99 (roughly Rs 3,100).
