Till now, it was customary for Apple to unveil their products at their Macworld – iWorld trade-shows that take place in January. These shows witnessed the announcements for products, such as the iPod, iMac, Mac Mini and a host of other Apple devices. However, since 2009, Apple has not had any keynote and though recent reports suggest that Apple may launch their next iPad at the trade show, these rumours may not bear fruit. To reaffirm these negations, a report by The Loop claims that, “These rumours are completely false.”
Don't expect a January launch for the next iPad
Jim Dalrymple, a well informed source of Apple and author of the report states that he had checked with a number of sources who have said that the iPad 3 was not planned for a release at Macworld. He goes on to add that the product would not launch at CES, either, which happens in January as well. The sources have also informed him that one should not expect the Apple iTV to be launched at either of the events.
This puts these rumours to rest as of now of an iPad launch. Other rumours suggest that Apple could be launching two iPads in 2012 in the form of an iPad mini and a higher end iPad, which apparently has a battery capacity of 14,000 mAh. These rumours should be taken with a grain of salt as of now, but one should just wait and see how all these speculations pan out in the future.
