Prior to Nokia officially announcing its Windows Phone 8 handsets, names of Windows Phone 8 devices had been revealed through a leaked image that was captured of a Windows Phone database. In this screenshot, there was a listing for a handset called Juggernaut from Nokia. A report by MyNokiaBlog states that it has recently received an image of a handset, believed to be the Juggernaut.
The report states, “It looks a little like the rectangular 810 but with a slight curvy bit at the bottom. It mentions on the side that it’s a proto Nokia. WP7 home button but it could just be an old proto.”

Looking at this handset, we can see that it looks a bit larger than other Lumia Windows Phone 8 handsets and more on the lines of the Galaxy Note II. The handset is also similar in design to the Lumia 820.
The handset features the old Windows Phone logo, thereby suggesting that it could be an older handset from the Windows 7 line up. However, the Live tiles on the screen indicate that it is a Windows Phone 8 device. Another notable inclusion in the interface here is that it features the Family Room tile, which is featured in Windows Phone 8 and not the older Windows Phone platform.
As of now, details are a bit scarce regarding this device known as Juggernaut and we have to wait and see if the handset does in fact get officially unveiled for the masses or just remains in the prototype stage.
Earlier this month, Nokia had unveiled the Nokia Lumia 620, the third and most affordable smartphone in its range of Windows Phone 8 devices. Nokia claims that Lumia 620's body uses a new dual-shot colour technique to deliver a variety of colour and texture effects. Dual-shot adds a second layer of coloured, transparent or translucent polycarbonate on top of a base layer to produce secondary colour blends and depth effects. One can add a personal feel to the handset as there are seven different exchangeable shells to choose from. The Nokia Lumia 620 is powered by Qualcomm's SnapdragonS4 Plus processors.
The features shared with the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 are the camera lenses. The Cinemagraph lens adds simple animations to still photographs, while Smart Shoot creates a single shot from multiple images and removes unwanted objects from the picture.
Bundled apps include Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive, Nokia Transport and the exclusive Nokia City Lens. Nokia City Lens displays information about local surroundings overlaid onto buildings as seen through the camera viewfinder. Nokia Music, which provides free streaming of ad-free tracks without registration or subscription and the ability to download playlists for listening offline, is also bundled.
Here is a quick look at some of the highlighted features of the Lumia 620:
- 3.8-inch TFT ClearBlack display with a resolution 800 x 480
- 3G, EDGE, Wi-Fi, NFC
- Bluetooth 3.0
- GPS with A-GPS and Nokia Maps Suite
- 5MP camera with f/2.4 aperture and 720p video recording, front-facing camera with 480p recording
