Nokia’s N9 has been peeking out from behind its velvet curtain for awhile now. It’s a sleek looking handset on the slide out QWERTY that could give the MILESTONE a run for its money. Negri Electronics has released more images of the device and also a video showcasing the handsets assets. Although the handset has been dubbed the N9, it’s also possible that it could be new addition to the C-Series of devices as one of images shows a Nokia C0-00 branding.
This yet to be announced Symbian^3 handset would also feature –
- a 3.5-inch touchscreen with multitouch support
- 3G and EDGE support
- Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, USB 2.0 (micro)
- GPS with A-GPS support (Ovi Maps)
- 8MP camera with dual Led flash
- microSD card support
- 3.5mm handsfree socket
- HDMI out
It’s also possible that like some of the newer devices, the ‘N9’ might also come with internal memory in the Gigabyte capacity range.
The device also incorporates the same propped up display when the keypad is out like the N97 handsets. The keypad is laid out like the Nokia N97 Mini's.
There’s no official word from Nokia yet. In the meantime check out the unofficial video demo below.
