With the Nokia Lumia 820 announced, we know that it comes with some pretty amazing features that put it almost on par with the new Nokia flagship handset, the Lumia 920. A neat feature of the handset is that it features interchangeable covers that allow a user to customise their handset to a certain extent. At the announcement, Nokia showed off two types of covers – one glossy back panel and a second case with matte finish. In what comes as some interesting news, the brand has a third type of cover – a sporty rugged case for the Lumia 820 – that will be ideal for the adventurous outdoorsy folk.

As per a report by Pocket-Lint, the author Stuart Miles states, “Nokia has told Pocket-lint that it plans to release a more rugged sports back case for the Nokia Lumia 820announced on Wednesday for those that want something a bit “tougher”. A spokesperson for the company explained to Pocket-lint when we went to check out the covers that the replaceable back covers would come in three different designs. Gloss for covers that didn't include the wireless charging feature, matte for those that did, and then a “soft to touch” sporty cover with rubber on the corners to give it extra protection if you dropped it or let it bash around in your bag.”
