Toshiba had launched the world’s first dual-screen laptop sometime back in June. The laptop which was priced at Rs. 86,194 is now on sale at for a discounted price of Rs. 80,990. Plus you can have your perks of being a fan, something which we’ll talk about later!

Liberal with using screens

Firstly the laptop boasts of two 7-inch display screens, which means in place of your keyboard in the laptop, you have the second 7-inch screen. Both these screens are multi-touch so you can use both as virtual keyboards. The Libretto weighs at 819 grams which for a laptop of that size is very light. The laptop also features a VGA Camera with microphone so you can video chat with your folks from around the world.

With the Intel Pentium U5400 processor which clocks at 1.2 GHz and a 3 MB cache, the laptop can be used for casual usage such as surfing, movies, etc. though with a capacity of 62 GB it can’t store much. The laptop also has a 2 GB DDR3 RAM and an Integrated Graphics card. The laptop features Haptic feedback so you can “feel” the typing. The Libretto offers run-of-the-mill connectivity features like Wireless LAN and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.

Use it as a newspaper too…

Now at Rs. 80,990 the laptop could be a unique Christmas gift with a one year warranty and a free upgrade to international warranty.

Tech2 is also giving away five gift vouchers for Rs. 1000 each, exclusively for the readers. If you are interested in buying the product all you have to do is answer this simple question.
