While the HTC Incredible S might have already made an appearance in India, there are three other smartphones in the wild out there. This time, there are pics for all of HTC’s handsets plus there’s mention of the hardware specifications as well. Let’s take them one at a time.
Igniting the smartphone love?
The HTC Ignite runs on Windows Phone 7 and boasts of a Qualcomm 800 MHz processor with 512 MB of RAM. The only other two specifications we have are as follows:
- 3.7-inch Touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution
- 5 Megapixel camera
So that’s not much, but it’s quite possible for the Ignite to have a memory expandable to 32 GB with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options.
In its Prime
The other Windows Phone 7 smartphone, the Prime is supposed to be a slider smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard underneath. While the handset has a 512 MB RAM, there’s nothing about the processor or GPU. The display screen also has the same size and the 5 Megapixel camera has autofocus and LED flash. Unlike the Ignite, this one has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi mentioned.
Carry your own Pyramid
Finally the smartphone which we saw being listed earlier, the HTC Pyramid runs on Android, but what might be a typo is that it runs on Android 3.0 (aka Honeycomb). We all know that this version of the OS is primarily meant for tablets, so it’s quite likely that the Pyramid runs on Gingerbread. It runs on a 1.2 GHz processor with 768 MB RAM. Other specs are mentioned below:
- 4.3-inch Super LCD touchscreen
- 8 Megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash
- 1.3 Megapixel secondary camera
Looking at the two cameras, there’s a high possibility that the Pyramid will be 3G-enabled as well.
So while these three handsets look good on paper, we’re still waiting for some more confirmation on specs, pricing and launch details. Anyway, stay tuned for more.
