Gaming brand Razer has announced the launch of silent versions of their Razer BlackWidow and Razer BlackWidow Ultimate mechanical keyboards. Both the Ultimate and Standard versions of this mechanical keyboard have been refitted with a keyset that offers tactility but with a quieter feedback. The Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth Edition also comes with extreme anti-ghosting. This is an improvement over the traditional anti-ghosting matrix as it allows up to 6 simultaneous key presses anywhere on the keyset.
The Razer BlackWidow Ultimate keyboard incorporates a quieter feedback on the keys with lighter actuation force, extreme anti-ghosting, a new matte black finish and rounds it off with five levels of backlighting, additional macro keys and programmable keys with on-the-fly macro recording. Weighing 1.5 kg, the keyboard comes with a braided cable and has an audio-out, mic-in jack along with a USB-passthrough. It allows users to select ten customizable software profiles with the capability of on-the-fly switching and provides a 1000Hz ultrapolling/ 1ms response time with an additional option of deactivating the Windows key and remapping it for customized gaming.
