Yesterday we spoke about how Robin was a playable character in Arkham City, unfortunately it will be exclusively available to those who pre-ordered the game from Best Buy. Like us, it seems everyone was a bit peeved at the fact that developer Rocksteady was willing to offer exclusive content to an online retailer who wasn’t accessible outside America.

Website Shacknews reached out to publisher Warner Bros. for some sort of clarification on this and thankfully they’ve confirmed that Robin is a timed exclusive. This basically means the playable character, as well as two challenge maps – Black Mask's Hideout and Freight Train Escape – will initially only be available to those who pre-order the game from Best Buy. But eventually (post release) this content will become available to everyone who owns the game – for a price, of course. Now whether this comes to all platforms is still unknown, but we'll keep you posted.
