While the LG’s G-Slate was already unveiled at CES two weeks back, all we knew was that the tablet will be running on Honeycomb and will be powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor. News doing the rounds now, however, talk about the G-Slate’s ability to play and record 3D videos.
According to sources, G-Slate is said to have the following features:
- Display size: 8.9-inch 3D display allowing to view 3D content without glasses
- 3D recording capability
- LG Tegra 2 dual-core CPU
- USB port and HDMI connector
For now, there is no confirmation about this but then only yesterday we carried a story about LG’s Glasses-Free 3D phone. So there’s a good likelihood of the tablet supporting 3D content as well. There’s still some doubt about the 3D video recording feature, but we’ll just leave that aside until we get official confirmation.
