Saint’s Row 2 may not have been a technically sound game but it was an utter blast. Sacrificing any semblance of realism for all out madness, the game put players back in the fictional city of Stilwater as they fought their way to the top of the city’s criminal syndicate.
Saint’s Row 3 continues from where the second game left off. The Saints are now a household name and are on top of the game. They’ve diversified their business to include merchandise like sneakers, drinks and bobble heads. The sudden rise to fame catches the attention of rival organizations who demand some sort of tribute. The Saints obviously don’t bow down and so you take the fight to a new city.
Living the good life
Here’s what Danny Bilso, head honcho of THQ had to say on the occasion, “Saints Row: The Third puts you on top of the world, right at the beginning of the game, with all the perks that go along with being the head of an elite criminal organization. There’s no delivering pizza, no shuttling family members about in a long series of taxi missions. Instead, you take all the power of the Third Street Saints and you take the world by storm.”
Expect a full reveal in Game Informer's April issue. But of course.
