Samsung’s looking to woo the low-budget users with their second iteration of the Champ mobile, the Champ Duos E2652. The mobile was launched last month in the rest of the world, but had not officially arrived in India. There’s one disappointment however, the phone’s Wi-Fi version – the Champ Duos E2652W, has not come along with this one.

Anyways, the phone doesn’t boast of any great specifications but it still comes out to be a good option at its price. The Champ Duos E2652 runs on Samsung’s TouchWiz Lite User Interface and is dual-SIM capable. A look under the hood of the E2652 reveals the following specifications:

  • 2.6-inch Resistive touchscreen
  • Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR
  • 1.3 Megapixel camera
  • 50 MB internal memory expandable up to 16 GB
  • 3.5 mm audio jack

The phone supports MP3, WMA, MP4 and H.263 media formats and has social networking integration.

The Champ Duos E2652 is priced at Rs. 5,080 and is available at your nearest mobile retail shop from tomorrow, i.e. the 9th of April onwards. Stay tuned for a review of the E2652.
