While the Galaxy Fit was launched along with the Gio and Mini, it’s taken almost a month for the smartphone to reach India, which is not too late really. The smartphone’s launch has been mentioned on their Facebook page and can also be seen on Samsung’s website. Anyway, let’s take a look at what the Samsung Galaxy Fit has to offer.

The Galaxy Fit aka S5760 is powered by a 600 MHz processor and runs on Android Froyo. On top of the OS, the smartphone features Samsung’s TouchWiz UI 3.0. Following are the specs of the S5760:
- 3.3-inch Capacitive Touchscreen
- 3G, Wi-Fi and A-GPS
- Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP
- 5 Megapixel camera with Autofocus
- 160 MB Internal memory expandable up to 32 GB
- Stereo FM radio with RDS
- 3.5 mm audio jack
The Galaxy Fit is also loaded with regular smartphone sensors like the Accelerometer, a Proximity Sensor and a Digital Compass. In terms of pre-loaded apps, the S5760 has all the regular Google apps like Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk and Picasa integration.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy Fit at Rs. 12,860 but it looks like the smartphone is also available for Rs. 10,359 on Flipkart. Stay tuned for a review on the S5760.
