The Galaxy S was quite a success story for Samsung, it packed in great features along with stunning looks which was loved by quite a lot of people. Now it seems that a successor is on the way, According to a Korean newspaper, Samsung has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S2 will make an appearance at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next year.
While there has been no official confirmation of the specs for the Galaxy S2, the newspaper states that “The new Galaxy is expected to run Android 2.3 and feature a dual-core processor for much quicker operations. It will also likely include an electronic payment system and gyroscope”.
The new rumour is line with the earlier ones which stated that device will have a dual core, possibly a 2Ghz processor as well as a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display. Other features include 32GB of flash storage and a microSD card slot for memory expansion, 8 Mega Pixel camera which is capable of 1080p Full HD video recording. It also includes the usual trappings like Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi and GPS.
