While we usually get a hint of what smartphone will be coming out of Samsung’s stables, it looks like this one just passed under everyone’s noses without a mention. The model is called the SGH-T589 and is said to be running on Android. There are some more details as well.
Another entry-level handset from Samsung in the making
The SGH-T589 will be powered by an ARM11-based processor and has a screen with a low display resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. The smartphone will also be flaunting 3G and Wi-Fi capabilities, which is quite standard in most smartphones nowadays. While none of these are mentioned, we are expecting Bluetooth, probably a camera with a decent lens and expandable memory.
This smartphone is probably going to be in the entry-level smartphone category. Maybe if priced right, we might have another option for a low-end Android smartphone. We’ll leave this here for now, but keep your eyes open for more on the SGH-T589.
