A few months ago, Ridley Scott appealed to the world, asking them to film their lives in a day. The film is set to release on the 27th of January at Sundance and will also be able to be viewed for free on Youtube. Here's a snippet of the film.
This clip is one of 1,125 clips that made it to the final cut out of the 80,0000-odd clips that were submitted. The documentary is 90 minutes in length and is directed by Kevin Macdonald. On January 24th, Youtube will ask users for questions to ask Macdonald about this film making process for an interactive question and answer session to be held at Sundance.
Did you document your life in a day?
The film has been sponsored in part by LG Electronics. People whose footage made the final cut will be credited as co-director and paid a small amount. Some Hollywood studios are in bidding to distribute the documentary as well.
