A few days back, Sony Ericsson was talking about staying with Android-based phones, but at the same time they did not rule out Microsoft. There’s news now that Sony Ericsson will be making phones in 2011 with the Windows Phone 7 OS running on it.

A quote from DigiTimes says that, __STARTQUOTE__Sony Ericsson products in 2011 will have an entertainment theme, and will mainly support Android but Windows Phone 7 (WP7) devices are also in the pipeline, according to sources from Taiwan-based handset makers. Sony Ericsson will leverage Sony's technological resources and brand equity in the Bravia TV series and PSP game console to create new selling points for its handsets, the sources noted.__ENDQUOTE__

Well we’ve already seen the XPERIA Arc and XPERIA Play and yesterday we had a preview of Sony Ericsson’s HalonVivaz's successor. All these phones are running Android operating systems, but who knows, there’s a big possibility that some of their phones due in February could include Windows Phone 7.
