As part of the features, the tablet has 3G, GPS and Wi-Fi. It has an in-built 155 MB of phone memory expandable upto 32GB via the microSD card slot. The device comes with a 4200 mAh battery and weighs 485 grams.
The Spice Mi-Tab
With all these specs, the device more or less looks like a similar-but-cheaper version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. A faster processor and Android 2.3 pre-installed would have made the MiTab a much better deal. According to Spice’s official website, the MiTab is available at an MRP of Rs. 16,490; however, the market operating price is expected to be Rs. 12,990.
Following are the specifications of the MiTab:
- 17.5 cm capacitive touch screen with an 800 x 480 pixel resolution
- 3G, EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi
- GPS with A-GPS support
- Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP
- 2 Megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera
- USB Tethering
- Memory expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card
