Spice’s two very eagerly anticipated phones – the Stellar Horizon and Stellar Craze have been delayed and according to Spice, these Android handsets should be arriving towards the end of July, although they are trying for a mid-July release date. A representative from Spice told TheMobileIndian, “Due to some shipment delays the availability of Spice Stellar Horizon and Spice Stellar Craze has been delayed. We hope to make the phone available in the market latest my end of July. However, we are pushing hard to release it earlier by middle of July.”

The Spice Stellar Horizon is something we are most looking forward to. It will have a 5-inch touchscreen bundled with Android 4.0 ICS. It also packs in a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a dedicated 300MHz GPU for the game heads. Around the back, we have a 5MP auto focus camera with a 0.3MP front camera supporting video calling. Other key features include dual-SIM capability, GPS/ AGPS, Wi-Fi Tethering and a big battery life among others. The Spice Stellar Horizon is all set to launch at a price of Rs. 11,999 and will hit the retail market by the end of this month. Spice Stellar Craze is more of a budget offering that offers a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 800 MHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which is upgradable to Android 4.0 ICS. This phone is a lot more affordable at Rs. 6,499.
