If you like your oggling to be slightly larger than life, Sony's got the thing for you. The next Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition will come with 3D video of the models. Sony Network Entertainment will have the video for sale and rent on their Playstation and other platforms. The video will be 30 minutes long and will come out on February 15th, the same day the print edition is released. It will be available for rent or purchase on Playstation 3 (and video on demand which isn't available here) and will be $7.99 (approx Rs. 360) to buy and $4.99 (approx Rs. 225) to rent. A 2-D version will go for $6.99 (approx Rs. 316) and $3.99 (approx Rs. 180), respectively. Sony has worked with IMAX and Discovery to bring this 3D content to the small screen.

She can come to life

Sports Illustrated has added 3D to its Swimsuit edition, in various forms, since 2000. Since then, they've played with many platforms including iTunes and mobile downloads. As a result, less people are buying the print edition. Understandably of course, would you rather have the girl in that picture above flattened on paper or 3D-fied?
