The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc has already been shown off on video by the official Sony Ericsson blog, but the video was a mere four minutes long and we wanted more.
But now it seems that a proper video preview is the order of the day and that is what we have for you. Android.HDblog got their hands on two units of the Xperia Arc and has given them a proper rundown. As you can see from the video below, the Xperia Arc runs on Gingerbread with Sony Ericsson’s custom UI skin on top. It also has an 8 Megapixel Camera with flash, which can also do 720p recording. The device is also much slimmer in profile when compared to the old Xperia and also looks so much better. Not to mention the UI is now much faster thanks to the ‘Timescape’ and ‘Mediascape’ features being scaled down compared to the original and thus making them a bit less intrusive. But enough talking, lets take a look below.
The new Xperia has a lot going for it; the new slim design combined with the superb looking 4.2-inch screen will definitely catch your eye. Apart from the looks, the upgraded Android OS and the tweaks made to the widgets do make it sound very appealing.
