Developer CD Pojekt’s The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was one of the best RPGs we've played all year and now it seems the best just got a bit better. CD Projekt have been hard at work to improve the game via a bunch of tweaks that have now been released with patch 2.0, FREE of cost. For starters, many found the game too tough and without a proper tutorial to guide them through the world, they died a lot initially. This has now been rectified with an in-depth tutorial that explains all the basics to gamers allowing them to ease into the brutal game world. On the flip side, you now even have a super tough Dark Mode that amps up the difficulty tenfold giving hardcore Witcher fans a real challenge.
Best RPG experience this year
Finally you have something called an arcade Arena that allows players to take on waves of enemies in arenas similar to a horde mode. Once you die, you can upload your score and share it with friends via the forums or Facebook.
To celebrate the launch of this patch, Good Old Games have not only slashed the price of the game but are offering a 25% on that already reduced price bringing The Witcher 2 down to just $29.99 (Rs. 1468).
