Toshiba has added value to its LED TV portfolio with the launch of its new range of 29-inch LED TVs in India. The new range offers the 29-inch size from Toshiba’s popular LED TV series in India – PB200 and PU200 LED TV series.

The company claims that the new LED TVs will give added incentive to consumers to shift from their old CRT televisions to its affordable LED range. The LED TVs amalgamate key product attributes like quality, performance, style, sound and power saving according to Toshiba.

The LED TVs are performance oriented and use Toshiba’s patented Regza Engine that reproduces high resolution images to enhance the received signal so that it displays the highest video quality. A faster processor also results in a shorter response time, thereby offering an impressive picture performance.

The company says that the PB200 and PU200 LED TVs have been inspired by the motto “less is more”. The TVs are lifestyle centric with their narrow bezel upping the TV viewing experience with its elegance.

Below the bezel rests a dedicated sound bar with the new Power Bass Booster that generates harmonics at different frequency intervals. As a result, the depth of the frequency is increased and clarity of the bass sound is strengthened, which leaves the consumer with a sound that is not only powerful but also clear.

Both the 29PU200 and the 29PB200 boast of advanced feature such as Auto Signal Booster that has been added to improve signal sensitivity and viewing in areas with weak signal strengths. The AutoView feature monitors room brightness and adjusts the backlight and various picture parameters according to it, thereby reducing the running costs by lowering power consumption. The LED TVs also have a contrast booster feature that uses a luminance and chrominance adjustment process to select the optimal colour on the picture contrast without affecting the original colour settings.
