Sony Ericsson’s handsets might probably come a close second after RIM when it comes to being snapped in the wild. The latest from SE is that two mobile phones have been spotted in two different incidents.
A venture into the non-Android scene
The first one that you can see is the CK15i, lined up with other handsets. This one will neither run on Android nor will it be a smartphone. Probably a first from Sony Ericsson this year, the CK15i has a touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and will also feature a slide-out keyboard. The handset will be running on Java Platform 8 which is also know as A200.
will this give us a good Xperia-nce?
The second device is called the ST18i and looking at the picture, it looks like it will be carrying the Xperia moniker. The smartphone seems to be designed like the Xperia Pro and it definitely has a touchscreen by the looks of it. There’s not much information about the hardware under the hood so that’s all we have for now.
