After the recent release of one of its biggest games, Assassin's Creed III, it appears Ubisoft is considering new ideas for the next title in the series. According to The Gaming Liberty, the company has sent out a new survey that shows the potential path the next game's development could follow. The survey covers a wide array of topics, but what caught our eye was one question that could lead to an all new mode in the next game – co-operative play. It asks if gamers would like the “possibility for a friend to join the game in order to help.”

Other questions in the survey cover the release of Assassin's Creed III, general satisfaction with gameplay, combat, sequences, and story arc, while probing for the next potential protagonist for future games. The survey also asks questions about general interest in Connor coming back for another game, another game with Desmond, and a revisit to the Frontier.

The next game may allow you to kill Templars with your buddies in tow

Earlier this month, Ubisoft confirmed the Assassin's Creed Anthology set, and announced exactly what would be included in the set. While the console versions of the Anthology have been announced, there is no sign of a PC version yet. The Anthology is set to cost GBP 119.99, which roughly translates to Rs 10,430, and will be released on November 30.

Here are the contents of the Assassin's Creed Anthology:

  • Assassin's Creed.
  • Assassin's Creed 2, plus Sequence 12: Battle of Forlì DLC, and Sequence 13: Bonfire of the Vanities DLC.
  • Assassin's Creed Brotherhood – The Da Vinci Edition, including The Da Vinci Disappearance single-player add-on, 2 additional missions: Trajan Market and the Aqueducts, and new multiplayer features: 1 Map + 6 Characters + 2 new modes.

Ubisoft had also announced the release window for the first major DLC that will be part of the Assassin's Creed III Season Pass. The first DLC will be the opening chapter in the 'what-if' story missions that will have you fight an evil George Washington. The DLC is set to release mid-December.

The DLC is set to be a single player campaign split into three episodes. The season pass for the Evil George Washington DLC (not the official name) is set to cost 2400 Microsoft points on Xbox Live and $30 (around Rs 1,560) on the other platforms. The season pass will include all three episodes as well as a multiplayer DLC that will feature new maps and characters.
