All the smartphones powered by the Snapdragon processor can now enjoy an extended battery life. This is after Qualcomm on Monday released the full version of Snapdragon BatteryGuru, an app that helps you save the battery life of your device.
The app is expected to extend the battery life on Snapdragon-powered devices by optimising its functionality. It doesn't need any manual configuration and runs in the background. The app learns the phone’s behaviour in two to four days and notifies the user that it is ready to extend the battery life.
The app has hit more than one lakh downloads since the beta version was launched in February. Qualcomm also has added several languages, including Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish in the new version, which is now available for download globally.

Snapdragon 200 processor runs on quad ARM A5 CPUs running at up to 1.4GHz per core. Graphics is powered by an Adreno 203 GPU, and it supports LPDDR2 RAM. The processor is powerful enough to support HD video playback.
