A USB Tethering hack for Windows Phone 7 has been made available. It allows the user to connect their phone to the PC and use it as a modem for browsing via 3G.
The method currently works for HTC's Windows Phone 7 models like the Mozart, the Dell Venue Pro and the Samsung Omnia 7. You can check out the XDA-developers thread for a tutorial on how to enable USB tethering on the HTC devices, this link for the Dell Venue Pro and this one for the Omnia 7. As always, we advice you to be extremely careful while applying this hack because there's a danger of bricking your device. Oh, did we mention your devices need to be rooted first?
Anyway, as we said in our review, WP7 is still very much a work in progress. Maybe the rumoured update will fix some of the issues the operating system has and takes it up another notch.
