Vodafone customer, Dhaval Valia has been issued a warning by the company, after the latter posted comments, allegedly considered defamatory by Vodafone.
(No) Power to you!
Vodafone, a popular mobile service provider in the country issued a warning to Dhaval Valia, a business journalist stating that the latter's comments on Facebook was presenting a wrong picture of them in the market. Indian Law Alliance, a legal firm on the behalf of Vodafone has issued a warning clearly stating that unless Dhaval Valia removes his statements from the site within 48 hours of the notice, he would invite a defamation suit. Valia, on the other hand states that the 3G services provided by Vodafone haven't lived up to their 'promise', and has counter filed a complaint against the company for allegedly causing him 'mental harassment'.
Valia has been refuting all charges (posting defamatory comments, sending SMSes to top officials, being impolite with a female executive), and in his complaint states that Vodafone has been violating his privacy by sharing details of his Facebook posts with their legal firm.
