The OnePlus 5 is going to officially launch on 20 June, 2017 at 9.30 pm, but it seems that most of the specs and design features are already out in the open.

Features that have been confirmed for the OnePlus 5 are the dual camera in which one camera will have a 16 MP Sony lens with f/1.7 aperture and the second camera will be a 20 MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.6. OnePlus’ tagline of ‘Focus on what matters’ has made it evident that OnePlus plans to go the iPhone 7 Plus way and introduce portrait mode. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau was quoted as saying to The Verge as saying that the OnePlus 5 will have one of the highest resolution dual-rear cameras in the market.

Well known and reputed tipster Evan Blass has shown us the leaked images on his twitter handle and it appears to match most of the other leaks that we have seen recently. The leak implies that the design of the new OnePlus handset hasn’t varied much and will stick to a 5.5 inch display alongside an metal body as seen in OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.

The OnePlus 5 was also spotted in an Ad which was featured during the India-Pakistan Champions trophy final. The OnePlus does have an official live streaming of its launch on YouTube at 09.30 pm on 20 June, 2017. An official Indian launch is scheduled to take place on 22 June, 2017 and the sale will start on the same day at 4.30 pm exclusively on Amazon.
